Suspension of client service due to epidemiological threat

In accordance with the Ordinance of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Poland concerning the announcement of epidemiological threat posed by the SARS-CoV-2 virus and for the sake of your health and well-being we inform that the Foreign Affairs Unit immediately suspends all direct customer service until further notice and. This entails the following:

  • The suspension of direct service applies to all posts (units, departments, bureaus) and issues, i.e. legalisation of foreigners’ stay, formalities which citizens of the European Union and their families must fulfil and the entries of invitations to the invitation registry.
  • All appointment reservations made via the electronic appointment reservation system will be cancelled. A person holding such reservations is kindly asked to send applications legalising their stay via the Polish Post.
  • All appointments related to written requests will be cancelled and rescheduled.
  • All interview dates are now cancelled.
  • All applications for issuing temporary, permanent and long-term European Union resident permits must be sent via the Polish Post no later than on the last day of legal stay.
  • We kindly ask to postpone all new submissions regarding new entries in the invitation registry. If urgent, please send them via the Polish Post.
  • All applications for the replacement of the residence card, registration of stay of the European Union citizens and their families should be sent via the Polish Post or – if possible – withheld until the state of epidemiological threat will no longer be in effect.
  • Issuing residence cards and all other documents requiring personal appearance will be suspended.
  • All additional documents should be sent via the Polish Post.
  • Issued administrative decision will be sent only in justified cases via the Polish Post.
