New crucial decisions in regards to the fight against the COVID-19 outbreak have been made by the Minister of Health of the Republic of Poland Łukasz Szumowski. Precautionary restrictions concerning, among others, personal mobility, public transportation and gatherings, shall be in effect from the 24th March until 11th of April 2020.
More specifically, these new regulations include prohibition on leaving home – except for handling only the most urgent matters – and forming gatherings of more than two people. However, the latter does not apply to the members of immediate family. Furthermore, from now on, passengers of public transport will only be able to occupy half of the seating positions.
