New restrictions from 1st April

31.03.2020

Limited number of people in stores and appointed shopping hours for the elderly. New restrictions and rules in everyday life in Poland come into force on 1st April 2020.

Everyday, from 10 a.m. till 12 p.m. all shops, pharmacies and drugstores will be open only for people over the age of 65. All points of sale and amenities will be available for other Clients in their usual working hours excluding the aforementioned time interval. However, the allowed number of people in a store is dependent upon the number of available cash desks – no more than 3 people per one cash desk. Thus, e.g. 3 cash desks in a store means that only 9 people are allowed to enter the premises at the same time. Furthermore, all clients are asked to wear disposable gloves (which should be provided by each store).

Parks, squares, beaches are now excluded from use.

Leave home only when absolutely necessary, in matters of utmost urgency. If you indeed have to leave the place of your residence, please do it alone and keep a minimum 2-meter distance from other people.

Service points such as hairdressers, barbers, beauty parlours will be closed. DIY stores will be closed on all weekends.
